Fire Chief & EMS Director Hiring Announcement
North Fond du Lac, Wisconsin (Pop. 5014) is seeking applications for the position of Fire Chief - EMS Director. The position involves the overall organization, supervision, planning, and directing of both the full time and volunteer medical service and the volunteer fire department. Applicants must have a paramedic certification and a minimum Firefighter II and Fire Officer I certification. Applicants must have a minimum of three years of progressive experience. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills in budgeting, coordinating full time and volunteer staff, interpersonal skills and grant writing experience. A candidate is not required to have a degree in a related field but will be given extra consideration if achieved. Salary will range from $55,000 to $69,000, DOQ, plus an excellent benefits package. The Fire-EMS Department is a community oriented department with a full time paramedic EMS service and a volunteer Fire Department. The general operation budget for the 2012 Fire-EMS Department is $800,000.

EMT/General Laborer
The Village of Colfax, WI is accepting applications until Monday, April 16, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. for a Regular Part-Time EMT/General Laborer, with a current non-union wage of $12.25/hour. This position receives no benefits other than those required by law.
The EMT/General Laborer works under the policy direction of the Village Board, under the supervision of the Rescue Director and occasionally, the Working Public Works Director. Position performs a variety of complex and routine emergency medical and general laborer tasks and provides administrative support to the Rescue Director. Position typically works Sunday-Saturday day shifts, with flexibility based on departmental needs.
